Description
Commercial-Grade Flow for Large Ponds, Water Walls and Filtration Systems
The Luponds 30,000 LPH Multi Use Submersible Pond Pump is the step-up choice for large ponds, high-flow water walls, commercial water features and bigger biological filters. Moving up to 30,000 litres per hour with a maximum head height of 8 metres, it has the muscle to drive large water blade spillways, sizeable waterfalls, and filtration systems that a smaller pump simply can't keep up with — while its oil-free, magnetic drive design keeps the water safe for fish and plants.
Built for continuous operation, this commercial-grade pump uses wear-resistant ceramic bearings for long service life, is IPX8 rated for full submersion, and is backed by a genuine Australian warranty. It ships with a full set of hose tail adaptors (38mm, 32mm, 25mm and 19mm) plus a 50mm to 38mm reducer, so it connects straight onto larger-diameter pond, filter or water wall plumbing.

Where It's Used
The 30,000 LPH model is the commercial-grade option for large ponds, high-volume filtration systems, sizeable waterfalls and larger water wall or water blade installations. If your feature is smaller or you don't need this much flow, the Luponds 13,000 LPH Pump is a more efficient and cost-effective option. See our Pond Pump Buying Guide for help sizing correctly by flow rate and head height.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size pond or feature is the 30,000 LPH pump suitable for?
With 30,000 litres per hour of flow and an 8.0m maximum head, this commercial-grade pump suits large ponds, high-volume filtration systems, sizeable waterfalls and larger water wall or water blade installations. For smaller features, the Luponds 13,000 LPH pump is a more efficient and cost-effective option — check our Pond Pump Buying Guide to size correctly.
Is it safe for fish and plants?
Yes. The pump uses an oil-free, magnetic drive design, so there's no risk of oil contaminating your pond water, and it's suitable for ponds stocked with fish and aquatic plants.
Can this pump be installed out of the water?
Yes. It's suitable for both submersible and non-submersible (dry) installation. For dry installation, the pump must sit lower than the water surface so water reaches it by gravity feed, as it is not self-priming. Note the warranty is 2 years for submerged installation but only 1 year for dry installation.
Does it work with a WiFi speed controller for scheduling and energy savings?
Yes. This is an asynchronous (fixed-speed) pump, which makes it compatible with our 1200W WiFi Variable Speed Pump Controller, letting you dial flow down to 10% and schedule reduced running overnight or in cooler months for further energy savings.
What's covered under warranty?
The pump carries a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects and motor failure when installed submerged, 1 year when installed dry, and 1 year on the impeller. The impeller set and O-ring are exhaustible items and are not covered. Running the pump dry, using it with chemicals, or cutting the power cable will void the warranty.
How often does the pump need cleaning?
Luponds recommends cleaning the impeller and impeller chamber at least once a month to maintain strong flow. Restricted flow from a dirty impeller can cause overheating and permanent motor damage, which is not covered under warranty.
