Luponds 1500mm Wide 304G Stainless Steel Water Blade for Water Wall Effect.

Entertaining outdoors used to mean just a gathering around your barbeque. With our range of premium wall mounted spillways, made from 304 Grade stainless steel allows you to completely rethink how you can create your new focal point by designing your new water fall features.

With its' open lip design, these range of commercial quality stainless steel waterwall spillways can be used to create cascading (wall washing) and projecting sheet water feature effects.

Types of Spillway Effects

  • Cascade/Wall Wash - This is achieved where water flows softly from the spillway and cascades down the wall face into a pond or reservoir. A minimum flow rate of 50-60 Litres per minute (l/min) at the height of the spillway per metre of spillway length. 
     
  • Projecting Curtain Sheet – This is achieved where a large volume of water passes through the spillway, producing a solid sheet of water that projects away from the wall. A minimum flow rate of 230 litres per minute (l/min) at the height of the spillway per metre of spillway length and the spillway installed no higher than 900mm from water level. Note - the further the water drops, the narrower the water sheet widths become due to surface tension. It’ll project between 80mm-200mm away from the lip – the final result depends on external factors, e.g. plumping, location and pump capacity.
